If you’ve been self-publishing solely on Amazon KDP, you might be leaving money on the table. A lot of authors assume KDP is the only way to go, but what if there’s a way to expand your reach and increase your income?

I’ve been publishing wide with Ingram since 2020, and in this video, I show you how much I’ve earned from IngramSpark in December 2024. I share real numbers and insights and you will be surprised at the results. So, is it worth it? Should you publish wider?

This will depend on the books you publish and your overall strategy. The books I publish are varied. They consist of children's books, gift books, some high-content books and educational books. I don't publish coloring books or low content journals or anything of that nature on Ingram.

Before you proceed with IngramSpark, you MUST be aware of the following.

1. You must have a unique ISBN that you have purchased for each book you upload. You are NOT permitted to use the free KDP ISBN.
2. Ensure you meet the Content Integrity Guidelines of Ingram. If you don't, your book will not be published and distributed by Ingram and you will waste the money you spent purchasing your ISBN and will not be refnded.
